4 Great Things that Journaling Can do for You

I found these in the magazine Woman’s World October 30, 2007 edition.  I thought that maybe you would enjoy these.

1.  Keep the doctor away.  Students who wrote about their emotions for 15 – 30 minutes a day, for just four days, made half as many doctor visits in the following months as those who didin’t.

2.  Strengthen your immune system.  Immediately after journaling, study participants were shown to have heightened immune function!

3.  Make you smarter.  Writing regularly has been shown to improve concentration, which leads to better understanding of new material – and heightened ability to recall and use it.

4.  Sort out troubles.  Journal-keepers report that they’re more able to work out problems or worries in their lives after writing about them.
